Our biozentrale buckwheat groats with their natural, delicate nutty taste are rich in fibre. Our buckwheat groats are made from whole buckwheat grains. Buckwheat is part of the knotweed family and is considered pseudo-cereals – therefore, it is not a wheat or cereal. Therefore, our buckwheat groats are naturally gluten free. However, traces of gluten may be present in the product due to production and processing, as cereals containing gluten are processed on the same equipment. Our buckwheat groats can be used in many different ways, e.g. as a supplement to muesli/cereals, as a sweet or savoury porridge, as a hearty side dish or even for baking bread, pancakes, waffles and cakes.
