Our biozentrale wholemeal buckwheat flour with its original, delicately nutty taste is made from whole buckwheat grains. Buckwheat is part of the knotweed family and is considered pseudo-cereals – therefore, it is not a wheat or cereal. Therefore, our buckwheat flour is naturally gluten free. However, traces of gluten may be present in the product due to production and processing, as cereals containing gluten are processed on the same equipment.
Our tip: use our buckwheat flour for sweet and savoury dishes and pastries, for example for pancakes, crepes, waffles and blinis.
